To search a table in Adobe Acrobat, you are not able to use your Internet browser "Find" feature.  Instead, you must use the Adobe Acrobat Find function.  To open the Find window, click on the binoculars button in the Acrobat toolbar once.  Type the word or words that you want to find in the box and then click the Find button.  It will either take you to the first occurrence of the text you entered, or tell you that there are no occurrences.

After it takes you to the first occurrence, you may quickly find the other occurrences by clicking on the button with binoculars and an arrow (Find Again), which is to the right of the binoculars.  You have to click on the Find Again button for each occurrence.
